Does Pa require an RMT or RMS certification if I am only planning to place and retrieve radon canisters? I will be registering as a “Testing Individual” and want to make sure that I am taking the correct exam. I will be doing all the work myself and not supervising any employees.

Thank you, but I’ve been all through the Pa site(s) and it is unclear, at least to me, which is required. Hoping that someone certified in Pa could advise before I try calling the state for clarification. I’m sure that will be frustrating. I really try and do my own research before posting a question.
Did you read 03 2.2 Initial Certification Checklist? There is a list of testers here, one of whom you might contact. Here’s the contact information for PA Radon Division, including their telephone number. Call them and ask your question!
