The dead front cover was very difficult to replace on this service panel, which makes me think that someone’s installed circuit breakers that aren’t fully compatible with the panel. I would appreciate a second set of eyes on this.

There’s also the possibility that the cover was a replacement cover for the original, and may not be a matching brand.

I think I see four different manufacturers. From what I understand, panel manufacturers will have a list of compatible breakers. I call out mismatched breaker manufacturers for further evaluation. I do not attempt to cross reference them. Incompatible breakers are a fire hazard.

As said possibly tandems are not allowed. And definitely the Square D breakers are not allowed.
