The Sheraton really came through for us. We had only ordered 85 dinners but they brought in tables and chairs at the last minute and were able to feed everyone.
The ASHI guys were great too. ASHI Chapter officers came from two different Chapters.
BuildFax and NACHI finalized their partnership in person last night. Under this agreement NACHI members will have access to their online property research tool which gives inspectors access to building permits without having to drive to the courthouse (similar to CarFax if you know what that is). A formal announcement of our exclusive deal will be released Friday.
TAR, the Tennessee Association of REALTORs agreed to remove indentured servitude portions from the licensing bill, not specifically require NHIE but leave it open to other exams, and not give grandfathering to licensed contractors who would otherwise end up overnight competitors to we inspectors.
NACHI is handling the E&O through our portal which will open in TN just before the law goes into effect.
A NACHI member won the free website that Roberta from www.Yalia.com gave for a door prize.
