Cheers to the plumber who designed this drain. The water exits the plastic bag like tube and crashes into the drywall before entering the floor drain. The kicker is, there is a real drain pipe on the left side of the shower. Hope you all are as amused as I was when I saw it.

I remember seeing something similar back in the 90s, except the bag thingy drained outside and watered some plants.

It reminds me of the first house I ever owned. The shower in the basement drained in the floor drain. Made a water mess every time it was used.
