For my edification…not my inspection but the question arose “had I ever seen this before”? I had not. I’ve never seen posts used in this manner toe-nailed in as well. So my question for the esteemed group is…Is this really acceptable? Supposedly it “passed” code but we all know what that means.
I’ve never seen anything like that either. I’m wondering why so many? It’d be interesting to see the architectural plans. I wish I could be of more help.
