Great! We should buy German electric cars despite the fact we have a very good domestic choice!
Before Trump, Germany added 25% to every American auto import. We only added 2% to their imports. Now they are having a meltdown because Trump exposed this.
He also exposed them for buying all their NG from Russia and not us.
Orange Man Bad. He upset Europe. He not act right. He not let them take advantage of Americans. And he wants Peace. Bad Man. Bad Man.
492 miles per charge. Impressive.
Downhill… with strong tailwinds!
Hopefully there is a charging station within that range that hasn’t been torched by Op Mockingbird media brainwashed TDS/Elon haters.
Well, that’s still pretty good.
I thought you would have come back with something better though, like “on the back of a ICE powered tow truck.”
Who needs Mercedes when you can get a Cadillac? Buy American.

Conflicted…
As the backlash against Elon Musk intensifies, critics appear more invested in personal animosity than climate advocacy. This shift raises questions about the prioritization of environmental issues amidst rising political tensions.

More proof China is eating our lunch when it comes to future tech and green energy.
If Trump was smart, and he’s not, this is one area he would be investing our tax dollars in instead of drill baby drill and wanting to dig and burn coal.

Perhaps like his predecessors? The reason I mention this is that look at what’s happening to Tesla. Or the recent demise of the Mohave solar power plant. (But there are other indicators that Americans may support EVs.) Then there is government waste, fraud and abuse.
Green initiatives are risky business. Maybe stop burning money and let innovation work on its momentum. I dunno, it’s your money. You threw it away on failed experiments before, perhaps we just didn’t try hard enough or spend enough.
Meant to create jobs and cut reliance on foreign oil, Obama’s green-technology program was infused with politics at every level, The Washington Post found in an analysis of thousands of memos, company records and internal e‑mails. Political considerations were raised repeatedly by company investors, Energy Department bureaucrats and White House officials.

2023 has brought immense challenges, with higher interest rates, tighter financing, and adverse policy shifts which have contributed to solar bankruptcies.
Perhaps like his predecessors?
Yes, exactly like his predecessors. Just one example would be NASA and the moon race, then it was Russia, today it’s China. Yes, there were many failures on that journey, but in the end we were successful, and the tech that came out of that program changed the world.
We can’t let China win the tech/green energy race, and they currently are eating our lunch. So, drilling for more oil and mining more coal is not going to get us there.
NASA: 60 Years and Counting - Technology
Have you ever wondered how space exploration affects your daily life? NASA’s first six decades of discovery have benefited our lives in many ways: your cell phone, for example. Numerous tools and technologies for solving seemingly impossible challenges in the harsh and unforgiving environment of space have been adapted for Earth-bound use. NASA makes sure that these alternative applications, or spinoffs, are made available to the public. The benefits are making an impact worldwide in better health and medicine, transportation, public safety, consumer products, computer technology, environmental and agricultural resources, and industrial activity. Technology transfer also has a huge economic impact. It’s creating businesses and jobs committed to bringing NASA-derived technology and products—things originated from space exploration—into our cities and homes here on Earth.
We can’t let China win the tech/green energy race,
Green energy is not my priority. Vote harder.
Vote harder
…in 2028!!! Maybe more Independents will vote canceling out both the left and you “Righties”.

I would love a 3rd party…as long as it is not the new “Deep State” party…they could unite
I would love a 3rd party
I think they been trying for many years now. It’s not going to happen unless they don’t name it a particular “Party” like the “Green Party” Please! Keep it the “Independent Party” and see where it goes.
The “Deep State” will lie in both the “radical left” and the “extreme right”.
we keep finding evidence that not doing something about [global warming] will be far more expensive and hard on people
More good news on the clean energy front.
For the first time ever, clean energy sources generated more electricity than fossil fuels on the U.S. grid.
