EVERYTHING.
It is the last time it will all be visible.
That means electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc., all installed in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions and in accordance with the code (but still not doing a code compliance inspection).

Too true Jeff. When I did fire sprinklers though, we were the the one’s that gt the beatings. I would go in and rough in the entire house in a day or so. Come back to put water on it a few weeks later and we would have screws in pipe, nails, and pipe cut out because we were in someones way. Never mind that they could have walked 2 or 3 houses down and ask us to move pipe.
After a few thousand in backcharges to the builder passed on to subs, the problems would stop.
Sorry for getting off track. Point is check for problems like that.

Fellow Inspectors,
Thanks for the input. Today went well. Guess what the builder’s rep. did before he started working for them… Wait for it… He was a county code inspector.

Much appreciated, Joe. I am aware of ITA’s forms, but am far too cheap of a sh*t to want to buy 25 sets of them. That, and I doubt I’ll do more than 8-10 pre-drywalls a year. We do a lot more delivery inspections than in-process work in these parts. Thanks again.
