There seems to be a lot of requests for lookups.

Would it be possible for NACHI to purchase the rights to make on-line look up searches of the Prestons (or similar guides) for its members through the NACHI web site?

Wouldn't purchasing the rights be similar to the Inspection Depots images current being used on the NACHI home page?

Hi Paul,

firstly I don't think they would want to do it due to the sales it would cost them, secondarily we wouldn't want the electronic version it is truely unbearable, it was built in an old version of file-maker and is not exen windows compliant, it is truley nasty, I wish I had bought the book version.

Regards

Gerry

But isn't that true for Inspection Depot as well.

It would allow HI's who have seen the guide to see what it is all about and possible purchase a copy for truck when they on the road. Therefore it might even boost sales.

Well that's no good ![icon_cry.gif](upload://r83gSGUzNOacIqpjVReDwcR83xZ.gif) Perhaps they have a newer more compliant version now. When did you buy it? If all else fails, data is data. As long as its in a consistant format, a conversion program can be easily made to allow the data to be in what everformat we so desire. From a technical stand point it should be posssible if there is a desire.
