Gerry,

Hi. New to the board, wanted to say hi.

How about some questions of the day dealing with things found in Crawlspaces. Peir and beam homes are fun.

Thx,

Foxe Smothers

Peter, I like your idea of doing a crawl space week, I will start researching some pictures for it. I do not have too many of them so if anyone can help me out with some either post them to the picture library, or email them to me at education@nachi.org

Thanks

Gerry

Shame on you Gerry ... making decisions for your client again (duck). Buying an existing house is like buying a used car ... they are not perfect, and will need to be maintained.

If there are not other major things wrong with the house and a client is willing to spend the money for a new roof (or maybe even get a price break for that work) ... then it could be the right one for them. Only they know that ...

Just my 2-nickles

When asked ( it happens all the time) would you buy this house ?

I say, I am not a realestate expert and I really don't have any idea what this home is worth.
