Looks fine to me
This structure looks as if it has been standing a long, long time. If left alone it will most likely stand a long time to come. This roof was built when carpenters used real 2x lumber and not the demensional lumber we have today. You must also remember it was built when loads were not considered on outside walls and it was only the load on the roof you worried about. I have seen lots of this type of work aroud home and was usually the work of frugal people who got by with what they had and used it to their advantage.
The pitch of the roof itself appears to be steep enough to preclude worrying about any significant load being sitting there for too long.
To put it bluntly, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The armored cable on the left side is supported by nails (rusty) the “romex” is through the rafters (why??) I wonder why anyone would drill holes in rafters if they don’t have too. Romex is electrical taped for what reason?? How about the support of the cable itself?
I would point this out to the client but use "opinion" that a structural evaluation should be considered to be safe and to CYA...
