Do we really have 55% of the voters on this question that don’t see the Safety Hazard presented here.

Alright, what’s a cross connection and how do we know?

I'll be training with AHIT the week of 6-20 at the University of Akron but I need to know now! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

A Cross Connection exists where water from the drain and waste system can be siphoned back into the supply system.

A Cross Connection can occur when a faucet spout extends lower than the water level in a basin. If water pressure was lowered suddenly, the water in the basin could be sucked back into the supply line.

Thanks Dan.

It's quite obvious now.

I recall seeing a (fictional) TV show many years ago where a bunch of people got sick because of a hose in a utility tub at some major public building/stadium.

Cross Conection big time .

Yesterday we did a farm home that has an open well in the Barn . Animals are allowed into this area and there is cow paddies every where . I wrote this up hard and reported it to the local health department . The people and agents can not see that this is my concern as this is not the water they drink . I have told them this is an open feed of pollution into the aquifer and could cause a lot of people to get sick and die just like what happened in Walkertown Ont.

Remember you are always under the gun and the fall guy . Write hard and miss nothing . Will keep all informed on the out come of this . Just think if I had missed this you know who would be the first to be hung.

For information on Walkertown read http://www.canoe.ca/EcoliTragedy/home.html

I also posted this as a new post . It is too important for all too miss.
