Question Of The Week 16 February - Let's have some fun with music this week!

This week let’s have some fun with music and houses. All of the clues below are for songs that have a part, multiple parts, or the whole house named in the song title. The song title might actually have used those house terms metaphorically as many do so watch for that as well. These are all by well known artists and are not kids songs. To score a correct answer tell me who first recorded the song and what the song title is. Now be careful since many songs you think you know are really remakes of older songs. To help I did provide the actual first release date of the song.

Good luck and let’s play!

You may now choose from the following list:

Clue 1: In 1960 this man always entered the house here and even named himself after that part of the house.

Clue 3: In 1968 they sung about riding on this part of a house.

Clue 5: In 1996 this house was very brightly lit!

Very nice Manny. Hope some are good with their music. I wouldn’t have a clue myself.
Good luck to all.
Thanks

Me neither, Marcel.

Cool Manny! Great questions!

Good thing I can’t participate…I’m tone deaf…among other things…

These are all easy peasy to find with even simple internet searches.

Just another clue for our players. I listen to all genre of music in all time periods except what I call Garage Noise music. You know the ones with lyrics like the following.

Bang your head
Bang your head
Rape your dog
Kill your Mother
Shoot the cops
Bang your head
Bang your head

What crap that is!! And that crap genre does not include groups like Metallica, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, etc. Even most Heavy Metal bands made more sense than the Garage Noise garbage.

  1. Back door man-Howling wolf
  2. Def Leppard
    3 Steppen Wolf-magic carpet ride
  3. Melissa Ethridge- Come to my window
