Your answer to one question could be incorrect, misleading others.

Have a little honor & apologize

Well, with discussions and votes within the Awards Committee, it was determined that the questions could be considered like an exam we take. In other words, some of the answers could be right, but the “most” correct answers is accepted.

With that said @jmilholland is the winner of this QOTW. Congrats John!!

Nope! “Rabid animals” was not considered the most correct answer. Anything else?

My luck, I would see a rabid animal causing me to panic. Panic would cause me to overheat and then fall thru the ceiling. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Do not speak for me. I’ve learned so much on this forum. One of the best things I learned was how to research and find credible information. There are a ton of seasoned experienced people on here from specific disciplines such as structural engineer, HVAC specialist, electricians, IR specialist to general contractors, Radon Guru’s etc. I wish your experience was similar to mine. And I am sorry you did not win the game, I am sure that would have helped you see InterNACHI and this forum in a better light.

Well said Brian. Most all of us are here to learn from others on here. I do everyday even having to bear through some of crazy threads and posters.
Bottom line is the QOTW was and is designed to help inspectors learn and share their knowledge. The Awards Committee does discuss the questions when questions about them arise arise. It was discussed and the final answer was made.

Thanks for all those that took the time to participate.

I now see your point from your perspective. I can’t remember the last lead I received from NACHI. NACHI is definitely not a lead generator. It is a credentials generator. Which is helpful to most inspectors for many reasons.

Looks like you already quit.

You are missing out on a bundle of educational material, but for someone that provides Services offers complete Home Inspections for Allen County homes up to 2500 finished sq. ft. for $249 I can understand that it might not be necessary to obtain all that free educational benifet.

Thanks for the congrats from everyone. I am very new to this, not yet licensed. I’ve finished the 120 hr course and am now just doing independent study both on Nachi and elsewhere prior to taking my states exam. I get alot out of reading others posts on the forum - the real life examples of what HI’s see on daily basis.
