Nice, Marc! :boom: :heavy_dollar_sign: :1st_place_medal: :heavy_dollar_sign: :boom:

You are always willing to do these QOTW…thanks, my friend. It is appreciated.

And, I’ll have to get after that Cheesy Garlic Butter Bubble Bread. I can’t remember the last time I had that delicious stuff.

1 B (I only care “if” it flushes).
2 A
3 B (Not quite a leg: a spine on the prosternum can be snapped into a corresponding notch on the mesosternum. Dave may have the similar capability to take off based on social media posts).
4 The Codex Gigas, at 165lbs (assuming rather hefty apples at 1.65 lbs each). Unless of course you’re talking about dried apples, or dem apples.
5 The sun is always opposite the “antisolar point”

Great QOTW Marc. :+1:

Those Cheesy Garlic Butter Bubble Bread things look really tasty.

Larry, @lkage if they’re as good as they look, you should get a patent on those things, you could make millions. :grinning: :flying_saucer: :bulb:

  1. Integral flush- the tank is integral with the bowl
  2. a - although partial vapor pressure is also considered to represent the pressure of just the air, or just the water (when talking water vapor pressure), rather than the combined total of all gases in a sample
  3. Gotta be Dave Fetty… or a cricket… I’m on the fence here.
  4. An average weight of a typical apple is around a half pound, so 100 average-ish apples would be around 50 pounds. One book that weighs in at 50 pounds is the “Murals of Tibet” by Taschen.
  5. The sun is always opposite its shadow- the Earth, or the dark side of Earth, depending on your vantage point. I’ve never visited the International Space Station; there may be different answer from there.
  6. Savoy Brown, “Needle and Spoon”

Goose tacos sounds awesome. What’s the catch, meat not included?

great questions can I still score the bread if I don’t know the answers ???

I’ll take a crack at it.

  1. Integral Flush
  2. A
  3. Crickets and grasshoppers make noise by rubbing their wings, Click beetles snap the top and bottom halves of their bodies together. Lightning bugs signal with light, not sound. I didn’t want to google “Dave Fetty” for fear of what I might find out. By process of elimination of the first four choices however, it’s him. (Dave we love you, but E, final answer)
  4. The Gutenberg bible was most often printed on paper, and sometimes on Vellum. Paper versions were 17" x 24" and 1300 pages and would weigh about as much as 100 apples.
  5. The sun is always in the opposite part of the sky from the Anthelic Point. The antisolar point is not in the sky, it is below the horizon.

Bonus Savoy Brown sang “Don’t need no women, don’t need no wine, 'cause life is sweet when you hit the main line.” in Needle and Spoon.

Thanks & see you again!

  1. What type of toilet is this?

image

a) High Flush
b) Floor Mounted
c) Low Flush
d) Integral Flush
An integral flush tank refers to a type of flush tank that is built into the toilet itself, rather than being a separate tank attached to the wall or mounted on the floor. This design allows for a more streamlined and compact appearance, as well as easier installation and maintenance

2) Which of the following describes partial vapor pressure?
a) Water vapor has a tendency to disperse itself equally in the available air.
b) Water vapor causes new homes to require house wrap.

3) I can take off and make very loud noises by rubbing my legs together
a) cricket
b) click beetle
c) grasshopper
d) lightning bug
e) Dave Fetty
c) grasshopper
The bug that makes very loud noises by rubbing its legs together is most likely a grasshopper; they produce sound by scraping tiny pegs on their hind legs against the edge of their forewings, creating a buzzing or clicking noise, which is called stridulation. They can take off pretty fast too.

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
4) What book weighs about as much as 100 apples?
The Illustrated History of Apples in the United States and Canada

~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
5) The sun is always in the opposite part of the sky from what?
The center of a rainbow
This is because a rainbow is actually just sunlight which has been refracted and reflected.
