Still not ready for this!
That sucks,
Melting now, sunshine and back in the double digits tomorrow.
Yesterday evening was different. The usual 2 does and 3 fawns were eating corn and along come 3 bucks to join them (including 1/2 rack).
And then I spotted this guy on the other side of the house.
Big squatches everywhere!
The cats senses a friendly aura with you.
It’s his smiling face that they adore…
This one tried to escape multiple times. Should have left an invoice for “cat sitting.”
Attic find (ok it was in a box my brother left). Always wondered what happened to that ship, played with it as a kid. 1930 something, belonged to my uncle. needs a little work but the motor still runs.
That’s cool, nice one to restore.
Very cool Bob!
Congratulations Daniel to you and your family! My daughter and son-in-law live in Knoxville and it is a beautiful area.
That is a cool toy Bob, I would put it on a shelf in a see through enclosure and keep the petina just like it is.
Too late, I already started stripping it. That particular item has been repainted by hand so many times it has brush marks and layers of different colors. It is true that some antique items have more value with that “patina.” But the only value here is nostalgia. I have quite a few other pre war tin toys and trains.
How long is it, Bob? …maybe 16" - 18" long?
That’s kinda personal Larry!
