Maybe those mouse pads I am patiently waiting on will help. I have been waiting since I joined.

Outstanding move.

I'll be waiting to see the stands at the REMAX offices in my area.

Try to be chill with the mousepad comments. Our staff is a bit sensitive about it because every time I see someone with nothing to do I remind them to go to the REALTOR pool, draw a name and address, and ship another mousepad. It is something they have to do when they run out of productive work. Many go out but we can never catch up… secret is… I don’t want them to ever catch up. It is my fill-up work between projects. Anyway, http://www.nachi.org/thankyou.htm will look like Marketing 101 once I get RPT going. Best of all, I can print an issue of RPT for 11 cents.

Also, I was a licensed REALTOR for many years (more years than I was a home inspector) and a listing lead generator for one of the biggest REALTORs/Brokers (my partner) that ever walked the earth… so I know what to put in RPT to keep these REALTOR’s noses stuck between the pages.

I will be looking for the ones in Waterloo, Cedar Falls to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. All are good to big size offices and I can’t seem to knock the door down. I have a few agents in there but could stand a lot more. We are not over whelmed with inspectors yet and we stand a great chance of locking in NACHI. It’s a fresh market you might say.

Would it be worth the time to leave some copies of IQ at local realty offices? Or should I wait for RPT to come out and request copies?

Also, being unemployed still and very little HI business, why don't you have the mouse pads shipped to me and I can spend 8-10 hours a day shipping them to the realtors. I'd only charge $8.00 per hour ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

I need to pay my rent somehow.

Larry,

My advice...Send them both newspapers.

The more exposure you give NACHI the better off you will be when potential clients are seeking an inspector in you're area. Realtors will point them towards http://www.findaninspector.us or http://inspectorseek.com.

As for the mousepad promotion, Nick says that Mousepad promotion #2 will always be shipped within 30 days. If you have a few bucks to throw in for personalization, this would speed up your request and your mousepads would be personalized for your company advertising.

We now have a color ink press and so can do color photos in both RPT and IQ.
