I am sure many fans of PBS This Old House remember, Roger Cook.
The former garden and landscape contractor died to health related issues.

I enjoyed watching that show and learned a lot from those guys. They all seemed like genuinely good people. RIP Roger.

Edit: This forum topic is the only place anywhere, “on the line”, that I see mention of his alleged death.

well evidently this news was another one of these ridiculous hoaxes. My apologies, when i did the search to verifiy, google actually gave me a link to another hoax story. ill delete the original post. again my apologies.
No worries, I just didn’t feel that this forum was a good place to start killing people off, especially Roger Cook!

The OP added something he thought was credible without vetting the information. What saddens me is the way some members react. Learn to teach not scold.
Regardless of the misinformation mistake, This Old House is a great educational show. I have used their little 5 minute YouTube vids several times with clients when they ask on things like “How to add in a hood for a bath fan” or several other items. These guys were at least trade based and provided some great info.
Sort of the start of the home improvement movement on TV for me as a kid. Better quality than the shows produced today in my eyes with folks like Norm and Roger on board.
