The info about the greenhouse gasses was interesting as well.
The only modern-day concrete that is going to last as long as Roman, is the batch that Jimmy Hoffa is buried in.

I agree. A lot of people think they are one in the same. Since it is a chemical, it might be what is causing the problem and he does know. At the same time, is it the cement that makes concrete dust a carcinogen?

Good thread Robert. Years ago I read how pozzolanic ash defined the durability of what was referred to as Roman concrete.
