I counted at least four cracked rafters, some at knot holes. The house as been remodeled at least once with what looks like un permited additions
ie carport to living space and closed in patio.
So I guess the real question is how much should I elaborate on the condition?

Brian,
“Observed 4 split rafters in the attic. Recommend repair by qualified contractor” You might mention “south end of front slope” or east slope close to chimney chase" but you made the right call. You might comment on how many layers of roofing there are and the effects of the extra weight or other potential causes based on your observations the day you were there.

One of my concerns when i see these, are how is the roof going to react to being raised back into place. How old is the roof cover? The home appears to be a 50’s to early 60’s home.
If this condition was present at time of the tear-off and re-roof and the structure wasn't addressed then, how will the shingles react after lifting them back into the place they belong. Potential tearing , etc. The cracked rafter at the knot doesn't appear to require to drastic a repair. The other, though ominous in appearance, also doesnt appear to alter the roof slope if i'm seeing it correctly. Don't know what the others look like.
Admittedly, the one's shown don't look too drastic, but these things need to be considered. In other words, CYA
