Hi Guys/gals ,Is this flashing correct ? As you can see the slope side is

tucked underneath the shingles but the flat roof side is on top of

the shingles . It continued on from the slope . Shoulld it not all be

underneath?

From this diagram the installation appears correct.

If I zoom in real close I think I see the vertical lines of step flashing on the slope which is correct.

If you zoom in, the flashing to the left is under the shingles and the flashing to the right is on top of the shingles. This would be correct. The flashing also appears to be counter flashed at the intersection with the siding. Unable to tell if the counter flashing is let in to the siding or just attached and sealed to the surface.

Slainte!

Thanks guys

As usual you have been a great help. I was wondering , why doesn’t all

the flashing just be underneath or on top , why one on top and one underneath?

The direction of the slope dictates the flashing. Just look at the shingles.
