Found an old gas furnace on a home in Florida where the roof vent was covered with a regular gooseneck vent. The roof contractor wanted to get the job done and figured the building inspector would not bother go up on the roof anyways. WTH. What do you say? 3 LF clearance minimum?
That’s going to backdraft like crazy. That’s a vent for a range hood, not a furnace.
