Should there be an outlet here?

I understand the NEC requirements for kitchen outlet requirements on countertops. Question I have is this… do you measure just the length of the counter, or is it the “total wall space” along the counter edge (see attached photo). A kitchen counter that ends along a wall and is 37 inches long would require at least one outlet if placed in the middle. If you add the adjacent wall at 25 inches then it would need two. Or do do you just measure one wall?

A pretty common question and most AHJs say it is measured along the back edge of the counter.

I agree with greg 100%…There is no problem in the placement in that picture.
