On May 5th-7th The Snell Group will be hosting an online conference. For the past ten years our Thermal Solutions conference has been very well received by the industry, with more than 200 people attending in the past few years. We expect our first online offering will also be well received and hope you can join us.
NACHI members, while welcome to attend all three days, will probably be most interested in the Tuesday (May 5th) session on Building Thermography. The focus of the conference is using infrared for inspections of residential and small commercial buildings. Three excellent live presentations related to buildings will be featured:
• Understanding Evaporation: Why Some Leaks and Dampness May Not Appear on Thermal Images, Terry Carson, Guardian Home Inspections
• Infrared and Building Failures, Kristin Szava, Safety Tech Inc.
• The Use of Thermal Imaging in Home Weatherization, John Snell, The Snell Group
There will also be a two live “Ask the Expert” sessions and informational messages from some of our sponsors.
The cost ($69UDS)/day includes copies of the papers from which the presentations are derived. The conference continues on Wednesday with Condition Monitoring for Infrared and Thursday with Motor Circuit Analysis.
