I was working in maintenance at the IRS building in Atlanta in early September of 2001 when a flyer was printed and posted on service doors at the facility. The flyer urged workers to be on the lookout Ifor young men claiming to be art students, who were observed to be making sketches of the buildings and grounds of U.S. government facilities throughout the country.

The 14th Amendment says in part that no person shall hold any office who has “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” after having taken an oath to support the Constitution. The lawsuit argues that Trump violated his oath through his connection to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
