Thanks Chuck, glad I found it!
Actually cable conductor label is every 3’ feet. Conductor AWG, materail. AL/CO ect…
Well he can add me to the list he wants to sue!
If he or the state of Ohio ( Where I was born) Would have thought to keep any real home inspector from removing a dead front.
That I think He and who ever in Ohio agree with that B.S. must be lessron’s
And would be cheating home buyers out of an honest real inspection!
Good job Chuck!
Let sleeping dogs lay.
This is just for you Chuck since I know how much you ‘know’ about Ohio law. Some of my Ohio advertising. I’m doing well - thanks for thinking of me.
You’re still promoting falsehoods and I still think InterNACHI should sue you on behalf of all Ohio members.
And I still think you’re a putz.
Captured for posterity just in case the ever get around to it
Truth is an absolute defense
Should I ever be proven wrong I will gladly say so, until then your Texas opinion of Ohio law means nothing. Especially to me.
This is my screen saver.

As used in this chapter:
© “Home inspection” means the process by which a home inspector conducts a visual examination of the readily accessible components of a residential building for a client. “Home inspection” does not include pest inspections; environmental testing; inspection of any property or structure conducted by an employee or representative of an insurer licensed to transact business in this state under Title XXXIX of the Revised Code for purposes related to the business of insurance; or determination of compliance with applicable statutes, rules, resolutions, or ordinances, including, without limitation, building, zoning, or historic codes.
An Ohio Licensed Home Inspector CAN inspect a newly built home for a client.
As has been said before, “Home Inspectors are not Code Inspectors”.
Why even post this, Mr. Parks?
Absolute nonsense comparing an AHJ and home inspector.
In Toronto, Ontario, builders and developers are trying this very tactic to have new buildings verified. Not going to fly in Canada. Not going to fly stateside in Ohio.
Please, Mr. Parks. Stay within your own domain.
Actually I doubt you read all those cable jackets (which are usually illegible anyway) and…
Actually one end of all those cables wind up in the panel… Gosh Darn! that’s probably a good place to view them!
Two misguided assumptions about my SoP? LOL. Stop now. Your killing me.
Please, provide the members, and any non members, say Mr. Parks, with legible cable jacket labels in an enclosure for lets say, lighting circuits.
Much easy outside the enclosure.
Don’t want you looking like Mr. Parks, do we?
Sorry for the edits. I am eating out and can’t stop laughing at the foolishness.
I almost dropped my coffee cup. Thats serious.
Really?
Once the SOP becomes law how are you going to apply that to a new construction inspection? Good luck.
New construction inspections ARE code inspections! How do you inspect the electrical system? R.C 3783 strictly prohibits its inspection by ANYONE other than an ESI.
Do you verify proper installation of the trusses per the truss drawings?
The state has a checklist for inspecting new construction. Do you use that?
What exactly do you inspect on new construction?
Ignoring…
Who sang “No time left for you”?
The Guess Who?
This is beyond hilarious, he is even dressed as the monopoly guy, and he thinks its real!
The Monotony Guy
That is an outright lie. Parks has been going into as many discussions as he can to spread his lies. This one has been beat to death in one of the discussions in the electrical section.
He also claims to have been certified on the first day that Ohio certified contractors in 2006. We first had State certification more than a decade before that. I started my business in 1992 to provide training and consulting. We were among the first training agencies in Ohio offering continuing education for contractor certification.
For those who desire voting: Wires run under joists of high basement ceiling
I voted to allow him to stay for entertainment purposes. Ohio inspectors will learn from his lies because I’ll continue to expose him for the troll that he is.
By the way, I took a screenshot today of the City of Toledo web page where it mentions the two Electrical Contractor licenses and Parks is still saying they don’t exist.
For the benefit of anyone Wo needs further evidence of Parks lying to everyone on this forum, this is the link to the City of Toledo page where the two electrical contractor licenses are mentioned:
Chad and the Expressions. They changed the name to The Guess Who. They were one of the great bands of my high school days. “On my way to better things to do …”
Mr. Parks is hell-bent on proving to us what an Ass he is. That is the one thing he has done well.
