“Interior parts or components…” That would require removing the dead front! Can’t report on them if I can’t see them.

That’s why I told them that leaving that in was confusing. They change the original “shall” to readily accessible per my request. That will be removed before the final approval.
The rules have to go through (CSI) Common Sense Initiative and (JCARR) Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review.
As you have found in “T” I share the law and facts. Nothing says that you can inspect the inside of a panel in Ohio. Read what you want into it but if are in Ohio you may want to get “I’m allowed to inspect the inside of panels” in writing from someone’s opinion that you can use in court.
What makes you an expert on Ohio law? Your NJ attitude?
You might want to get it in writing that you CAN"T remove the deadfront. No where does it say that!

It doesn’t say you can’t do Professional Engineering but that is in another Ohio law. It doesn’t say that you can’t do an electrical inspection but that is in another Ohio law.
I know Ohio law - you don’t. Why would you want to tell Ohio inspectors what is allowed under Ohio law? Are you qualified to interpret Ohio law - specifically RC 3783? I am!

Yes, I have a dog in the fight. Never denied that. Does that change the facts? I help home inspectors here in central Ohio. It is more often that I throw the electrician under the bus.

You are really disingenuous. You are bashing the HI profession on your website. You should spend less time posting here and figure out how to spell check that website. Maybe Grammarly too! It is hard to pass yourself off as an expert with professional-level attention to detail when you have not mastered complete sentences.
