When you post messages on this board or on any other board, and for sure on your inspection reports, please do your self a favour and learn to spell
Too many times I read messages on this board and people do not know how to spell, and it shows ignorance and lack of education. We are supposed to be educated professionals, please live up to this assumption, and take a little time to at least use the spell checker.....

There are a lot of people that would think Favour is spelled wrong. Why would you take the chance of coming across being ignorant or uneducated?
I think some people need to work on expressing themself properly "when they write things down" so there is no misunderstanding.

Frank,
While I agree that many should use the spell checker, I don't agree it shows ignorance or lack of education. I do agree it is the professional thing to do.
When it comes to home inspection reports, you would be amazed at how much one word, or the lack of, can dramatically change what you were trying to say or convey to the client. Therefore, I am one of those that are in favor of using spell checking tools, although they are not fool proof, they do help with simple mistakes when your fingers are flying faster than your brain.
