I have been trying to fine out if a sump pump should be plug into a gfci outlets or a reg outlets.

If its a duplex outlet - put in on GFCI.


If its a dedicated outlet - it doesn’t need to be on GFCI.


Now that we've got that down - do you really want your sump pump on a GFCI?
