Sure am glad we have GW...

…global warming that is…it only got down to 14 here. I bet Condo Bob is colder than a Well Diggers butt, up there in the windy city! Brrrr!:shock::shock:

Took this yesterday MIDDAY during my inspection. I keep waiting for the Greenhouse effect to kick in myself…

If you cant read it, it says 6 deg F

I’m sitting at -3 with wind chill of -30:cool:

Out for AM inpsection–14. I may never warm up!

Below zero today–may get to the upper dingle sigits, though.

I’m going to ask for a bail-out for more degrees–Al Gore surely has enough carbon credits to send us some heat, don’tcha think?

I bet you’re missing that warm Erie winter, aren’t you John??:roll::roll:

Hey Jae,
I guess I should have gone a little futher south.

Are the “Green” folks now going to say that our refusal to adhere to their agenda is causing “Global Freezing”, instead of “Global Warming” …

I can’t believe people would request a home inspection with snow on the ground. Just blows me away. Rain yes (ideal conditions) snow no.

Kind of not practical up here, where the ground is covered for months straight with the stuff, the last two winters with over a foot. Folks buy properties year round, not just when its practical for the home inspector to examine it.

Why does it blow your mind anyways? The septic leaching field, swimming pools and mainly subjects that clients could care less about are the only lot items that are obscured for complete inspection. That’s why they are deferred (perc. test and visual inspection of the tank after pumping is always recommended anyways, regardless of weather). I make note that a roofer can be hired to clear it of snow and inspect. Never had any complaints or call backs.

Billy, most people buying a house only have 10 days after the P&S agreement to get a home inspection, therefore they usually don’t have a choice as to the weather conditions… Nor do we.

Buying a home is not seasonal. Just because it snows, doesn’t mean you can’t buy a property.

I’m sure most inspectors in cold climates don’t have any issues with accepting requests for an inspection.

You’re kidding, right? I don’t know how many times I’ve seen where snow blows into roof vents and is laying in the attic or frost on sheathing.

It will be a cold day in hell when I am looking at a snow covered roof in Phoenix. Here GW is alive and well.

Go…away…

…and take your friend with you!!

No problem believing in an invisible being and talking to him, believing donkeys can talk, believing someone parted a sea, believing birth without sex is possible, believing a man walked on water and came back to life…but don’t dare say the Earth’s climate is warming!!! That’s just ridiculous!!!

All of them sound ridiculous to me, man-induced “Global Warming” included.

Just like with the Bible’s claims, you’d think the indisputable proof for “Global Warming” caused by our pollution would exist if it were true. But we are expected to believe both without skeptism because “experts” are adament that hell awaits us “sinful non-believers”.
