It sounds like you have not much idea on what hunting involves.
I own/live on a non-slaughtering farm with hunting in the area.

Hunting is an industry
Yes it is.

No its not!

Less and less all the time.

Not the only source.

For a very very few.

Face it, we are carnivores plain and simple.
Actually humans are omnivores.

Carnivores - Require some meat in thier diet. ie cats, dogs, etc

Omnivoires - Do not require but may choose to eat meat. ie humans

Herbavories - Do not eat meat and can not digest meat. ie grazing animals

Do you think any animal has a 'sporting' chance at the slaughter house? ![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif)
For me, one of the differances is in the mind set of the person doing the killing. An employee doing a job to earn money to put food on his table compared to a drunken hick walking around the bush with a loaded riffle. ![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif) I'd rather not have either but I'd rather not have the hunter more. Did you know that slaughter houses have a greater percentage of vegitarians than any other industry. Humm.. go figure!

No I am a carnivore ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif) , I would get very upset if I did not get my daily supply of meat.

I think your post simple proves the point I was trying to make.

Your an animal killer no better, no worse than any other including myself.

Go ahead pacify yourself by separating killing an animal because you have to from killing one because you want to.

The truth is the animals are just as dead either way.

If you eat meat, or use other animal products your hands are just as dirty as the kid who puts a firecracker up a frogs butt.

By the way I might be a vegan if I spent time in a slaughterhouse also, that has more to do with seeing the guts of my food than the killing.

I doubt any of us would enjoy our hot dogs and sausages as much if we actually paid attention to what is in them.

Now time for some shrimp and ribs on the BBQ.

Someone killed the cow. Someone killed the pig. Someone killed the turkey.

I thank them! We'll have a big feast tonight with the neighbors.

Should the tiger that kills the antelope be hung from it's nuts too. It's called the food chain, and we're at the top. Until we go in the water, that is. ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

Usually you are still at the top. Only every thing that wants to eat you is below you . Fortunately in most cases we can not see them coming.

It is amazing that you have to go on this post to find out how to shot a duckling or any other animal.

I thought that this post was for educational and questionnaire type ordeal.

How you shot or will shoot some innocent animal is the furthest thing from my mind. What ails you? I thought this forum was about helping each other or educational purposes!

Maybe I am too serious on my work, but, the only thing that would stray me would be how to fix or recognize something I have never seen before.

Since you are never to old to learn, I would suggest staying more in to perspective element that pertains to the cause.

Leave the wild life where it belongs and talk about the informative category that this is suppose to be about.

What is wrong with eating legumes" it is free to the taking with a few seeds thrown into a topsoil and garnished with herbs that you like.
If you can not throw the seeds that will be fruitful, then continue to kill the beast that walk the earth, and one of these days the meek will inherit the Earth. Dose that not sound familiar.

I thought we were Home Inspectors! What are we talking about what we should eat or not eat. Is there no relevant information that would be worth our time that is better than how we eat meat?

We started about a hunting disagreement and you are turning it into a religious disagreement . You say why not keep on the inspection route . Well you to are starting in another direction .
In warm hot days and many are not doing inspections when have a little discussion if you do not like it do as you have said before do not read it

Sorry Roy; I thought this message board was more for education than personal activities.

I have assumed all this time that it was meant to learn from one another.

I can appreciate the fact that it is a weekend and some people take time off to shout ducks, but I do not. I did not mean to turn this post as a religious one, but only to learn that, I guess , I am still working.

I apologize if I came on strange or out of line.

Will now go to a section where I will be of most help.

Thank you

Marcel
