This is a situation specific to Pennsylvania as far as I know. I’m certified to do termite inspections in Pa. and based on Pa. Department of Agriculture regulations I need to carry pesticide applicator liability insurance in order to maintain my licenses. This can get pretty expensive especially since I don’t do any pesticide application - I just check for WDI’s during the inspection.
In years past I've had an agent to write a low cost policy but now that carrier has decided to exclude home inspectors.
If anyone else has run into this I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
