Anyone know how to determine the age of a Thermal Zone furnace?

Model: GM096K16B…
Serial: GM09909563…

I believe Nordyne owns Thermal Zone.

If that’s the case, the last four in S/N are year and week. There are only 52 (don’t know why it states 63rd week) so my guess would be 1995.

Hi Vince, Prestons list that model # as late 1990’s, I’d go with 1999 based on the serial #
