Two firsts on one inspection????

I must be just plain lucky get all of the good ones in one basket. The crazy patio cover was about to fall down support post went through the slab and God only knows what they were resting on probably plain sand.

I have never observed a chimney clay tile liner this short made a funnel for all of the rain to enter the chimney. I took a comparison pic of the house next door to give the buyer an example of what one was suppose to look like.

The cracks in the crown are as much of a concern as the recessed flue liner.

You probably already know this, but the flue liner is required to extend a minimum of two inches above the crown, and it would be a good idea for the weather-cap & spark-arrestor to cover the flue
