U.S. and Canada are on opposite ends of GDP/capita adjusted for inflation

Misleading metric. You have 10 times the population. Apples to apples comparisons please,
Per capita. Larger population and greater overall economic output, BUT much of your manufacturing left. 2022 Canada’s GDP per capita was just 72 per cent of that of the US. That’s all that means.

It takes at times generational shifts and time to bring back investments to build manufacturing plants, and don’t forget the skilled workers that are paid higher wages than the countries that are do the work now. Tariffs are killing everyone so you can get back money you spent foolishly. As well, US economic policies and events can have a significant impact on the global economy.
Ten of the eleven U.S. recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents.

What does USA need that Canada has. USA heavily relies on Canada for energy resources, particularly crude oil and natural gas and rare earth minerals. Trump was willing to make a deal as he calls it with Zelensky. That in it’s self was telling. A country half a globe away. Hmmm.

No it doesn’t. The chart is about GDP growth over 10 years. Canada’s GDP is nearly stagnate.

You ever shut up? Seriously. Your like a 4 year old looking for attention.
