U.S. Supreme Court gets it right on thwarting tyranny and gun control.

It’s in red Dummy!

Of coarse the police told him to stay out of it, for his own protection.
Of coarse the man is sorry about shooting the burglars, he feels horrible.
He did what he felt was right and not for the pleasure of it. It would be
a little sick if he said that he enjoyed it. What would you expect him
to say?

The grand jury said he did nothing wrong, the police said he did nothing
wrong, he was not fined or punished.

Why?

Because private citizens can legally shoot burglars in Texas, but they are a given a
free pass in other “gun free zones”. Even the burglars agree, that they would rather
rob your house, than mine.

Your happy and I’m happy. It’s like music in my ears… LOL.

Good clean fun in Texas.

Sorta proves a point doesn’t it? Or the policeman that shot his daughter while she was sneaking in past curfew!!!

But what about the Cars and pools and bull dozers Brian?

The lives that are saved and the crimes that are stopped with guns, are way more
than a 1000 to 1 compared to gun accidents. Cars and residential stairways
have a much higher ratio of accidents than guns. Your grasping at straws.

In those states where we all carry guns, there is no massive increase in killings
or crime. In fact, the crime rate goes down. People who predict that massive
bloodshed will happen, in areas that pass conceal carry laws, are always
humiliated and proven wrong. It does not happen.

The best way to protect your children from gun accidents is to let them
shoot the gun. It removes the fantasy and gives them a healthy respect
of what it can do. When I hand my children a gun, they handle it with
reverence, because they know what it is made for and have used it.
I have raised 4 children I have never had to correct one of them for
sneaking out my gun to play with it. They fear it’s power, as well they
should.

And, it helps everyone to not to sneak into windows late at night.

Brian,
Isn’t killing people against the law in those countries on your list?
How’s that working out?
Do you think that suicidal people won’t kill themselves because they can’t get a gun, or because suicide is illegal?
How many people do speed limits keep from speeding?
How’s the whole illegal drug thing working out?

Bottom line, you can’t legislate people’s behavior, and you can’t legisate safety. Freedom isn’t safe, free, or easy.
I refer you to Archie Bunker:

Nothing more to say.

The chart was available to yourself and all others! And my column heading said “% of”. I CONVENIENTLY LEFT OUT NOTHING, JUST PRESENTED THE DATA IN A MORE MEANINGFUL MANNER FOR COMPARISONS. I think my math is correct; when I was averageng “the others”, my totals matched yours. **Do you see anything that sticks out?/**quote]Definitely, you are truly naive!

Everybody now… Sing along … I love Roy Cooke annnnd Raymond too… I love B. Mc Neish annnnd his liberal views… Boom Diotta… Boom Diotta… Boom Diotta… Boom Diottaews

It sure does, but you obviously don’t get it.

I think the Ga. law should not allow guns in the airports, it will just make it easier to sneak one aboard.

So, Brian, How many of those 30 + students who were gunned down in that American University last year would have died if just one victim was armed? The problem with removing a citizens right to defend himself on equal terms to the bad guy is that the bad guys are all ARMED and the victims aren’t. Sort of stacks the deck doesn’t it. And it doesn’t matter where the bad guys get the guns the point is that they have them and the victims don’t.

Hey remember that western DESTRY?

Hey remember that western DESTRY?

besides individual safety people are forgetting the most important reason to gun ownership…FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY.

Citizens owning weapons and/or having access keeps a government afraid of its citizens and not the other way around. See if we have access to guns (in this case the most effective weapon) the people can form a militia to fight back if the gov. gets to powerful and tramples an individuals rights.

Looky here, we are off to a good start. Starbucks

We carry guns here in America simply because we can, because it is our right to do so… Many of us will carry them until they are removed from our cold dead hands.

Liberal Schmirable, I don’t think things are that easy and labels are at best misleading, furthermore it has been my experience that folks have beliefs that will confound most political pundits as it should be.

For instance, I am a fiscal conservative who strongly supports the 2nd amendment but I also believe that the government has no right restricting marriage, or telling a woman what she can do with her body… go figure, its an election year.

Pretty much… The best government is one that governs least.

Just in case you’re wondering, that pretty much makes you a Libertarian.

According to the article, the guy didn’t come in there to shoot the place up. Sounds like he was after the guy he shot. With that kind of anger towards someone, you will get the job done, even if you don’t have access to a firearm.
He could have just as easily stabbed him, or caved in his skull with a hammer.
Just goes to show you, you can’t ever tell where something like this will happen.
That’s why you should be ready to take care of yourself.
When seconds count, the police are only minutes away…

Trouble is there is more than one person involved. a.k.a unborn person.

The imperial court is what created this situation.

Side bar:
I wonder how many fewer illegal aliens would be here if we as a nation hadn’t permitted 50 million abortions to happen since Roe v. Wade.
