Hey guys, I ran into a material today I’ve never seen. I think its some type of insulation. Its 1/2" thick from a 1957 home in Florida. Anyone see this stuff, any known issues asbestos ect?
beaver board back then other names today
back in the day there were/are a number of id: cellulose/wood fiber products marketed for all sorts of purposes from sound proofing to insulative properties
beaver board
celotex
homasote
etc
We use to use that back in the 80s for sound proofing on walls and ceilings when dry walling condo parting walls.
Mainly just compressed board doubt there is any asbestos in it.
Hey, thanks guys
