For one, I am not involved with current negotiations to have iNACHI’s members recognized by the OACIQ contrary to some belief. Nick G assigned that task to a competent and trusty iNACHI member which Québec iNACHI membership supported, except for one member, you!
As for Michael, he can speak for himself and I do agree that he is very smart and that he may be opinionated at times especially when the R & R show starts. He is somewhat like me and simply cannot put up with the merde and lies that follows.
ROBERT YOUNG, your actions clearly indicates that you are out to derail the present talks which are to have iNACHI members in Quebec recognized by the authority (OACIQ).
I have an established client base and any decisions made by the authority will most likely not affect my home inspection business or any of the other established home inspectors, but for the newbie’s in Quebec, that may be a very different and sad story.
As for your reference to Gilles L being an old windbag, all I will say is that jealousy will get you nowhere. He was appointed by Nick G to officially represent and negotiate for iNACHI members in Quebec and I must admit he is doing an excellent job considering all the obstacles.

In a perfect world there would be no arguing but there would also be no need for homies because there would be no defects and deficiencies, so the need for an association of home inspection would be nil I suspect;) But in the real world the back and forth here prepares one for real life circumstances that can and do happen in real life.
Knowing how to deal with life’s realities all starts here and yes most homies will meet clients that will act as most here. A sad statement BUT TRUE!
