Water Heater Pan retro kit?

A client of mine noticed the water heater had no pan. It was in an unfinished basement, so didn't seem like too much a big deal. However, the distance from the wh to the floor drain concerned him. Is there a way to install a pan after the wh is already installed? Like some dam to hose setup? Maybe a quick product?

thanks,

tom

A sheet metal shop could fabricate a pan with one side bent down that could be slipped under the tank.
Get them to make me one too. :p
