Is it required or necessary to apply weep screed at the bottom of stucco when the stucco is on the walls under a covered patio. Also how about at the wall roof joint where flashing has been applied at least 10" up the wall.
Yes it’s necessary (and required in modern framed construction) to install the weep-screed at the sill plate, regardless of what might be attached to the house later.
Roof to wall transitions require flashing as well, but not a “weep-screed.”
