It’ll be better if we can get more people asking questions and answering them. It only takes 5 or 10 active posters to make it a worthwhile board and draw additional posters.

I think the real reason was because my posts indirectly promoted NACHI, “GOOD” toots its own horn too loud sometimes. Brian said it was because of my one-time use of profanity. I think this message board auto corrects profanity…Chris is this right? I wish I could auto correct my speech.

Spellcheck is not a feature that’s out there right now… it’s just not reasonable with the way these message boards are set up.
If you'd like me to change the color scheme, I can. It's only all these blues to match the NACHI.org main site.
As for profanity, I believe it does. I'm not entirely sure if I set it up, but I know this message board is capable of filtering profanity - would you like that turned on?

I like the message board, but I find it impossible to get back to the homepage without first logging out. I’m new to the forum so I maybe overlooking the obvious, but it’s a pain to logout, only to have to login again when a new thought crosses in my mind.

I use IE 5.50. When I click on the message board link on the NACHI.ORG homepage, the message board opens in a new window. I go back & forth all over the message board. But I just close the browser without logging out. That way my cookie keeps me logged in, so the next time I go to the message board, I don’t have to sign in again.
If I want to go back to the NACHI.ORG home page, I just switch to that browser window.

As Erby mentioned, the message board opens in a new window so that you don't have to worry about that. Just switch between windows to move between the main page and the message board.
