what is the cause of this?

In the main panel located outside the aluminum lines are in contact with the copper buspar and the buspar is black. It looks like copper that has been exposed to chinese drywall but this panel is outside and there is no evidence of this corrosion anywhere else. The copper branch wiring inside the same panel looks fine. Is there an dissimilar metal corrosion or oxidation that could cause this?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Sulfur water from a sprinkler system.

Why would it only affect the buspar and not the branch wiring?

Copper on the exterior where the sprinklers would spray, that nasty sulfur smell. There is not enough infiltration to the the interior to have the same effect. I can find you examples if you need. We will be talking about this at the next Florida Insurance Inspectors chapter meeting, January 21st. I will have samples of contaminated drywall there also.

I appreciate the information John, thank you.
