What is holding that 2 x 4 sill plate in position? No foundation bolts, The whole thing is just wrong. Obvious amateur installation, built with out permits and following any kind of building codes.


More than likely the occupants and furnishings above will be occupying the lower level very soon.

Flag it, refer it to an SE and recommend a building permit search

I don’t think that you can see it in the picture, but the 2x6 that is holding everything up, is only bearing on the block by a half an inch or less.


I spoke with the buyers and they said that the owners have the signed permits from the county.
I can't wait to see the outcome of this one.
This would be a good one for picture of the day.
