What is it?
Looks like one mean SOB if it can eat other lizards!
baby iguana?
Definitely not Iguana I know them and have seen and caught quite a few juveniles. They are normally herbivores but that is some bad a s s lizard. Like a cuban Anole but not.
You got a Knight Anole eating a Brown Anole. Both are invasive. Both displace in prey on are only native, the green anole.
Check out the FWC site it’s crazy what is thriving in South Florida.

Well that’s a first for me. Have seen the brown ones since back in the 70’s chasing them around in the Keys as kids, but that green Knight Anole looks like he’s the Hulk of Anoles…!
Great pic.
We have the larger versions here in our tree in front of the house. Our cats sit on the window sill and “talk” to them!
I have also seen, at the park I run through, some sort of hybrid lizards that are a combination of those lizards and ones that run on their back legs, almost upright! The Dinosaurs are making a return!
The little one was a common lizard not a anole. I do not know their real name.
The kind that I have seen here my whole life
18" long?? wow… good place to keep the cats indoors, Im thinking.
Isn’t that your insurance agent?
Looks like som realtors I’ve met…
Where is my bb gun?
We have those everywhere. My son loves them. He picks them up, lets them crawl in his hand and then lets them go in the grass.
We also caught one of those big green lizards Mike posted and he petted him before we set him free. The lizard was actually quite calm.
We also had a small black racer that I rescued from our cats that our son held.
He loves bugs, reptiles, etc. and isn’t afraid of them. He is dressed as a spider for Halloween and we had to make his costume as there aren’t any spider costumes to be found!
