We have a lot of those here as well. I leave them alone as they are murder on wasps and yellowjackets which we also have a lot. What I hate is walking along looking at the ground to make sure not to step on or in something run your face through one of their webs. The initial reaction will make you hurt yourself.
And it’s a strong web too.
