Jeff,

I bet the operator is not at fault, seeing as how the earth moves around out there. He was minding his own business when the ground shift right out from under his machine.( No disservice to the females anywhere, just thought you get enough of a bad rap when driving) icon_redface.gif

Bobcats make me so nervous I can’t even look at them driving by them in a car. Except for indoor commercial use, I see no reason for them. Case is the way to go. Just stick a 4’ bucket on a Case 580 and you can do the work of 10 Bobcats.

OOOOH Nick,

As a Bobcat man (I own my own machine and plan to get a second larger one in the near future) I think the Bobcats are the way to go. Not only did they invent the skid steer concet with thier model M100 years back but I find they also tend to hold thier value better than other makes. I will conceed however that Case does not scrimp on steel however. ![icon_smile.gif](upload://b6iczyK1ETUUqRUc4PAkX83GF2O.gif)

By the way, It kind of looks like to me that in Jeff's picture the outriggers are not down.

It looks like the soil the Bobcat was setting on slid downhill. Once the soil goes, everything on it goes too.

I have both a skidsteer and a backhoe…they are not interchangeable.

As for the photos…been there, done that and yes, it’s scary.
