200 Amp meter?

(Al D. Bolt) #1

This new 3S CL20 meter. Is it capable of 200 Amp service? The panel, disconnect & service conductors are all rated 200 amp.
Thanks.

Do you have any other photo's of the installation? It seems odd to have such a small conduit and meter enclosure for a 200 amp service.

Could be a CT

I haven't ever seen one but that looks like a remote meter setup.

I thought of that too but wanted some other photo's for clarification. Anyone installing CT's for a 200 amp service?

Did you get a shot of the service drop? Idaho Power usually puts the CT's on the drip loops.

Based on the second image you posted...safe to call this a remote meter and not going to effect you 200A reporting statement.
