I have worn 5.11 boots for a while now and use their tactical pants and other products for inspecting. I needed new boots and after finding out the ones I use were discontinued, I was shown the new Range Master boots.
They are a little narrow but the sole is very soft. I have walked a few roofs now with them and the grip is great. They feel secure. They do have soft soles, so they might wear out quickly.

I personally like my Nike Tennis shoes for inspections for newer homes in urban communities. If I am not hiking up hillsides, crawling under foundations, etc. I prefer my sneakers… Lighter weight, more comfortable and more agile!
