First off - how can I determine age of this Square D panel? Schneider Electric who owns Square D do not have an online research tool.
Also, is this amount of corrosion noteworthy?
no inspector that I’ve ever met ever gave the age of a panel. And for the corrosion it appears to be insignificant
Yep, I have never seen a date on the manufacturer’s label. Sometimes the installer or original inspector will hand write the date on it, but rare. I just try to put together the puzzle between original build date, any remodeling or upgrade permits, and general experience with a lot of panel boxes. Good luck…
