I guess 8.5 million acres of fire does cause a bit of smoke.
So, I guess what I’ve deduced up until now, is that summer is warmer and winter is colder.
Nothing to do know cept drink and watch porn, no?
That’s what they want you to think. Don’t be a sheep. I read on the internet that they want to get rid of summer and winter and just have spring and fall. That way it never gets real hot or real cold.
I’m in Michigan. I’m sure that they want to eliminate Spring, Summer, and Fall here so that all we have is Winter. So far, the plan seems to be working.
Some food for thought. Not quoting any resources…just the thoughts that ramble through the mind of someone that looks at all angles.
Is global change/warming real? Of course it is. Anyone that pays attention to the seasons year to year can see it. Don’t need science to tell you that. Is it all caused by us? No, however we do contribute. There is also the thoughts out there about the warming since the little ice age, but that is a different angle and would take more research for a good discussion.
Is there a viable alternate energy source? No. There is no energy source that does not have it’s downfalls or negative side/impact.
We all know about fossil fuels and the effects.
Nuclear may be clean, but yet spent fuel has to be dealt with.
Hydroelectric is clean, but construction of dams alters eco systems and in some cases whole towns and communties.
Lithium batteries may seem a good choice, but are not always stable, expensive and destructive to produce and then there is disposal at the end of life.
Wind…and this may seem a bit out there…but how much do wind turbines alter the natural flow of air? I don’t know. Like I said…just thoughts. However just seems to me that anything changing the speed or flow of air currents can have a negative effect.
Solar…production can be expensive. My question, though…is how much do the solar farms change how the land absorbs sunlight? How much water absorbtion is changed because of uneven coverage of rainfall? Granted areas like roof tops of buildings and houses may not have an effect.
What happened to hydrogen systems? Burn clean and only produce water, although it takes other energy sources to create it.
No energy is truly green energy. All of it is money driven or politcally driven. All “clean” energy sources require energy to produce.
Like I said…just thinking through the basics.
I would start your research with John Tyndall, who was credited for the discovery of what we refer as the greenhouse effect over 160 years ago.
