I found this in the basement of an 80 year old house. IT IS STILL IN USE.

Although I did note that it had internal & external plumbing leaks. They certainly don’t build em like that anymore.

This is an old instantaneous water heater. It comes on when the water is flowing. I believe they sensed outlet temperature but don’t quote me on that. The were great in their time. We had one for ten years until the house was sold. It is an antique today. You never run out of hot water. Great for a large family. icon_biggrin.gif

Wow, If someone was to replace that, and then clean it up, I bet it would be a good ebay item!

John,

I have finished the report and have noted the leaks and have recommended a plumber. Comments?

Blaine,

She told me she was going to keep & clean it up, did you see the electrical panel?

That’s a nice old home compared to the 70 year old dump I walked away from yesterday.

Looks like the people lived there a long time and took very good care of it.

Well I was just showing the good pics. The oustside had some serious issues, had been neglected, but yes the inside was pretty nice. Lots & lots of nice wood work.
